On Friday I was on my way home and I remembered that I hadn’t backed up my phone call in writing so I called your office at 5pm (after pulling over to the side of the road!). I would like to pass on my thanks to the lady that assisted me as your office was just about to close for the week and she stayed behind to attend to me before catching her bus home.
Most people would have simply said the office was closed and to call back on Monday but she went above and beyond her Customer Service role to assist me. Could you please pass on my compliments to her and also my feedback to her Manager.

You may find it strange that I found it necessary to write a thank you letter, however I find that I (and I am pretty easy going!) am continually disappointed and am becoming more and more disillusioned by the quality of customer care out there and to find a company who obviously takes such pride in being exceptional makes me feel that maybe all might not be lost.
Ever since my partner (who has used Donnellys for years, and my partner is a hard man to please!) recommended you, I have been more than happy….so….THANK YOU!
I just wanted to send you an e mail to thank A so much for the really great help that she has given to me with my insurance claim. A did contact me and explain to me in easy to understand terms how my insurance works, but not only that, A also called me back to inform me that my insurance claim had been approved. She is a really pro-active employee that you have working for you and you should be very proud of how she deals with customers and also how she loves the company that she works for.
Break in Claim
Now that the dust is settling after my horrible break-in, I would like to thank you for your help in fixing up the insurance claim. As you know we were quite upset and I felt rather muddled dealing with everything. You were extremely helpful, even meeting Rosemary and I at the front door so that we knew that we were in the right office! You were very competent and helped us very greatly in a cheerful manner – nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I have yet to go to the Jewellers but I will do that in about a month’s time when the girls can come with me.
Thank you very much indeed for making an unpleasant duty as good as possible. We wish you all the best for the future.
